Biography:

Dr. Sachin Jain completed his Ph.D. in Counseling and Statistics at the University of Wyoming in 2006. He is a National Certified Counselor and previously held licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho (2007–2013). His professional background also includes experience as a K–12 mathematics and physics teacher. Dr. Jain has published two books, 35 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and numerous book chapters, and has delivered numerous professional presentations. His honors include the Influential Teacher Award from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Outstanding Dissertation in Counseling recognition from the American Educational Research Association, an Outstanding Contribution to Scholarship award from the University of Idaho, and the Advocacy Award from the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development. He currently serves as President-Elect of the International Association for Wellness Counseling (IAWC). His previous counselor education and teaching appointments include the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana; Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan; the University of Idaho in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; the University of Texas in Edinburg, Texas; the International School of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso; SEV American College in Turkey; and Escuela Bella Vista in
Venezuela.
